Rome Study Trip 2016

The SEM Fed is unique among the national federations in organising an annual study trip that gives members a rare opportunity to visit behind the scenes and meet members of staff from museums across Europe and beyond.

Study trips are organised by SEM Fed members and the costs are limited to your accommodation and travel. It is a great opportunity to learn from fellow professionals across the world and socialise with fellow SEM Fed members over dinner.

The 2016 study trip will be to Rome and take place between 27th — 30th January 2016. The trip is open to all SEMF members.

Capitoline Hill

Planned museum visits for the trip are: Capitoline Museums, Keats-Shelley Memorial House, MAXXI(National Museum of Contemporary Art) and Galeria Borghese.

Further details of the trip will be sent out via e-mail to all members at the end of August. Members to reserve places after that.

Two £200 bursaries are for new members to help cover travel costs through the Martin Howe bursary. Deadline for bursary application in 30th September

Please reserve a place on the trip by 31st October. Places on the trip may still be booked after that but cannot guarantee they will be in same hotel.
